Da Nang, September 7, 2023 – Duy Tan University (Da Nang City) has just become a gathering point for the innovative startup community in this city when the preliminary round of the Da Nang Innovative Startup Competition – SURF 2023 took place. This event attracted the participation of many individuals, businesses, and startup support partners, including the FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund.
The SURF 2023 competition, organized by the Center for Supporting Innovative Startups - Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang, has welcomed the active participation of more than 20 startups and businesses, with the guidance of Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Director of FUNDGO fund management company, who is also a member of the competition's jury.
SURF 2023 is not only an annual startup competition, but also an important event in the Da Nang startup ecosystem, connecting stakeholders such as local authorities, domestic and foreign partners, investors, and startup support units. FUNDGO has accepted an important role in facilitating the development of startup projects and promoting innovation in the startup community in Da Nang.
In the preliminary round of the competition, each startup project was presented by startups/enterprises within 7 minutes to the Jury. The Jury, with the participation of Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong, conducted analysis and posed specific questions to evaluate and support the projects.
The SURF 2023 competition is not only an opportunity for startups and individuals passionate about innovation to demonstrate their capabilities, but also an opportunity to listen to valuable comments from leading experts. This is an opportunity to better orient ideas with great potential for development.
After the preliminary round, the jury will select 10 teams to compete in the final round on September 20, 2023. Outstanding projects will be awarded attractive prizes, including: first prize worth 50 million VND; second prize 30 million VND; third prize 20 million VND and consolation prize 10 million VND (cash or equivalent in kind). In addition to the prizes, the winning teams will also have the opportunity to receive guidance and advice from leading experts, helping them get closer to their dream of creativity and sustainable development in the field of innovative startups.
FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund is honored to accompany the SURF 2023 competition and will continue to support startup projects in Da Nang, contributing to the development of the innovative startup community in this region.
