Mr. Le Hoa Nha: Candidate for the People's Council of Can Tho City for the term 2026–2031
24/02/2026
FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund is pleased to announce that Mr. Le Hoa Nha – Deputy General Director of FUNDGO Fund, has officially run for election as a representative to the Can Tho City People's Council for the 2026-2031 term, according to the consultation program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City.
This event marks a continuation in the journey of contributing to the community by an entrepreneur who grew up in Can Tho, and clearly reflects FUNDGO's development philosophy: a business that is inseparable from social responsibility and civic duty.
Commitment of the voter representative
In the Action Program, Mr. Le Hoa Nha clearly affirmed his understanding of the role of People's Council representatives as those who represent the will, aspirations, and right to self-governance of the people; as a bridge between voters and the government; and as subjects who carry out supervision to ensure that policies and guidelines are put into practice.
If elected by the voters, he pledged to fully fulfill his responsibilities as stipulated by law, maintain regular contact with constituents, expand thematic dialogues with businesses, youth, students, and workers; and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
The overarching principle emphasized is being close to the people, understanding the people, and acting for the common good of the city.
Boosting the local economy through a business foundation.
With over 15 years of experience in investment and business development, Mr. Le Hoa Nha believes that the driving force for sustainable local growth must begin with the strength of the business community.
The key priorities include:
Proposing mechanisms to support small and medium-sized enterprises in accessing capital, technology, and markets.
Organize investment networking forums right here in Can Tho.
Attracting investment funds and experts from both domestic and international sources to the locality.
Forming a "business-to-business" model and building an interconnected regional ecosystem.
In his view, businesses should not develop in isolation but need a connected community, where large businesses partner with and mentor small businesses and startups, together creating sustainable value.
Connecting schools, businesses, and the labor market.
A key focus of the action plan is bridging the gap between training and practice.
He proposed promoting a business-association model in training programs, building practice rooms that simulate business environments, developing mentored internship programs with entrepreneurs, and establishing a fund to support student startups.
The goal is not only to create more job opportunities, but also to help students gain practical experience while still in school, thereby enhancing their confidence when entering the labor market.
Retaining high-quality young human resources in Can Tho.
One of the city's major concerns is the migration of highly qualified young professionals to major urban centers.
Mr. Le Hoa Nha believes that to retain young people, the city needs to create an environment that fosters career development, provides suitable income, and fosters innovation. His proposals include:
Policies to encourage businesses to employ high-quality human resources.
Creating innovative spaces for young people to gain practical experience through internships.
Organizing international investment events at the local level.
Creating conditions for young experts and intellectuals to return and contribute to the city.
According to him, retaining young people means retaining the future of Can Tho.
Strengthening oversight and improving the effectiveness of policy implementation.
Besides economic development, the action plan also emphasizes the role of monitoring, questioning, and proposing solutions to improve the effectiveness of policy implementation. All socio-economic development programs need to be implemented transparently, with measurable results and delivering tangible value to the people.
Mr. Le Hoa Nha clearly affirmed his commitment: anything within his authority will be done thoroughly; anything beyond his authority will be addressed with proper recommendations; and all actions will prioritize the common good of the city and its people.
Businesses are linked to their civic responsibilities.
The fact that the Deputy General Director of FUNDGO is running for a seat in the City People's Council is not only a personal milestone but also reflects FUNDGO's development orientation over the years: growth must go hand in hand with social responsibility, compliance with the law, and positive contributions to the community and to his hometown of Can Tho.
FUNDGO believes that, whether in his role as a businessman or as a representative of the voters, Mr. Le Hoa Nha will continue to uphold his sense of responsibility, management experience, and long-term vision, contributing to the goal of building Can Tho into a livable and desirable city to work in, and a dynamic economic center of the Mekong Delta region.
