On the afternoon of November 22, 2024, the Closing Ceremony of the Final Round of the “3rd Mekong Delta Student Startup Ideas Competition – INNOBE 2024” took place successfully. The event concluded a long journey of searching for and honoring the most creative startup ideas of students in the Mekong Delta region.
Representative of FUNDGO Fund – Mr. Le Hoa Nha – Deputy General Director of the Fund in the role of Chairman of the Student Board of Judges shared: “The teams brought professional presentations, demonstrating careful preparation and passion for startups. I believe that these ideas will have the opportunity to go further if invested in the right direction and developed systematically.”
After dramatic rounds with impressive presentations, the Organizing Committee announced the results and awarded prizes to the best teams:

First Prize: Project on Manufacturing environmentally friendly bioplastic films from coffee grounds and Vietnamese cassava starch by students of Huynh Man Dat High School for the Gifted (Kien Giang)
Second Prize: Unburnt ceramic project from cellulose of banana tree trunks and calcium carbonate of golden apple snail shells by students of Long Tay High School (Hau Giang province)
Third Prize: Vegetarian meat project from durian peel by students of Huynh Tan Phat High School (Ben Tre province)

Second Prize: Project on Artificial Wood Production from Straw by Tra Vinh University Students
Third Prize: Lucbinhgauze project – biological bandages from water hyacinth by students of Tra Vinh University
The top-winning teams also received many valuable prizes from sponsors, including an incubation sponsorship package worth VND50 million from the FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund and the Vietnam Startup Incubator.

INNOBE 2024 is not only an intellectual and creative playground but also a bridge for startup ideas to get closer to the market.
