The Creative Startup Investment Fund is a fund that supports and helps businesses grow and develop together. This is very meaningful for small businesses with new, creative business projects but lack capital to promote and maintain business operations.
Legal status
The Creative Startup Investment Fund has no legal status and is established by a maximum of 30 investors contributing capital based on the fund's charter. The Creative Startup Investment Fund is not allowed to contribute capital to other Creative Startup Investment Funds.
Capital contribution
Contributed capital can be in Vietnamese Dong, gold, land use rights value and other assets that can be valued in Vietnamese Dong. Investors are not allowed to use borrowed capital to contribute capital to establish a creative startup investment fund.
The portfolio and investment activities of the innovative startup investment fund include: Depositing money at commercial banks according to the provisions of law; investing no more than 50% of charter capital of innovative startup small and medium enterprises after receiving investment.
Organizational model
The innovative startup investment fund is organized and managed according to one of the following models: Investors' congress, the company that manages the innovative startup investment fund; investors' congress, the fund's representative board or fund director, the company that manages the innovative startup investment fund; investors' congress, the fund's representative board and fund director, the company that manages the innovative startup investment fund.
Investors of the fund can establish or hire a company to manage the innovative startup investment fund. The company managing the fund is responsible for carrying out the procedures for establishing the fund and notifying the addition of the industry and profession of managing the innovative startup investment fund in accordance with the provisions of the law on business registration when managing the innovative startup investment fund.
Currently, the startup movement in Vietnam is growing in both quality and quantity. Along with that, many startup support funds have appeared to support startups to realize their dreams.
In the Mekong Delta, on March 21, 2022, FundGo Fund - the first Creative Startup Investment Fund was established with the purpose of supporting, sponsoring and investing in startups. The Fund operates on the model of Investor Congress, Fund Representative Board and Creative Startup Investment Fund Management Company.

With the aim of long-term investment in startups and small and medium-sized enterprises with high innovation and creativity, FundGo will diversify its investment portfolio into business models of food chains, agricultural production, healthcare, education technology, financial technology, medical technology, media technology and marketing.
The Fund encourages technology-oriented businesses, including convenient mobile applications, technology initiatives supporting agricultural activities, and especially projects using blockchain technology with high practical application potential, accompanying and developing according to the policies of the Government and the State in the new era.
