Exchange “Lawyers and blockchain technology”: opportunity to approach new fields for lawyers and law students

September 10, 2022, Mr. Dao Tien Phong - Managing Lawyer Investpush Legal, Senior Advisor of FundGo Creative Startup Investment Fund successfully organized the “Lawyers and blockchain technology” exchange in Ho Chi Minh City. The event took place at Meta Hub Coffee – N1 – N5 Truong Son, Ward 15, District 10, attracting more than 100 attendees including lawyers, law students and individuals and organizations interested in the blockchain field.  

Nowadays, blockchain is becoming a technology trend that is receiving a lot of attention from organizations and businesses in Vietnam as well as around the world. With the initial achievements that blockchain brings, we can completely believe that this platform will develop rapidly in the digital technology era. However, according to Mr. Dao Tien Phong, the blockchain field is currently in serious shortage of lawyers and legal experts. Therefore, he organized a meeting to exchange and share experiences with the hope that more and more lawyers will participate in this field to support projects and contribute to protecting participants, making the market healthy, and helping state agencies to issue appropriate legal frameworks.

Mr. Dao Tien Phong shares issues about blockchain technology.

At the meeting, Mr. Phong discussed issues such as: What is blockchain, its potential, applications, business models and new trends of blockchain; How to mobilize capital and blockchain application consulting matrix; State policies on blockchain; Criminal law in the field of forex and crypto. 

The program attracted a large number of lawyers and law students from inside and outside Ho Chi Minh City.

After a detailed presentation on blockchain, Mr. Dao Tien Phong took the time to listen to opinions, questions and shares from attendees. Many questions revolving around issues related to blockchain technology were answered by Mr. Phong. Here, Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Director of FundGo Creative Startup Investment Fund Management Company discussed enthusiastically about legal issues, investment and speculation in the blockchain field. Sharing about the Fund's vision for this field, Mr. Cong affirmed: “Nowadays, more and more companies are investing in the blockchain field.
