FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund, with the mission of nurturing and investing long-term in startups and small and medium-sized enterprises with high innovation and creativity, officially opens its Cinema investment portfolio.
This is an important step of the Fund in expanding the scope of investment, contributing to promoting the development of Vietnamese cinema. With its experience and resources, FUNDGO wishes to accompany producers, directors, actors, etc. to create quality, artistic and widely spread cinematographic works.
To mark the launch of the Cinema portfolio, FUNDGO has partnered with 1989s Group to produce the film “Quy Cau”.
This is a horror film, revolving around the story of a family who work in the dog butchery business. The character Nam, after receiving news of his father's passing, returns to his hometown with his girlfriend. Here, he begins to witness strange phenomena related to the white dog with a red nose that constantly disturbs, making the mourning atmosphere in the house even more terrifying.
"Quy Cau" is directed by young director Luu Thanh Luan, with the participation of famous actors such as Quang Tuan, People's Artist Kim Xuan, Van Dung, Quoc Quan, Nam Thu, Mie, ... The work with a humane message, condemning the problem of killing and butchering dogs, "Quy Cau" promises to bring the audience thrilling and dramatic moments in the last days of 2023.
"The Devil Dog" will officially be released in theaters nationwide on December 29, 2023.
By opening the Cinema investment portfolio, FUNDGO hopes to contribute to promoting the development of Vietnamese cinema, improving the quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese films in the international market.
The Fund will continue to seek and invest in potential film projects with attractive, creative and artistic content. The Fund will also support producers, directors, actors, etc. in the process of implementing the project, in order to bring the audience the highest quality film works.
