On September 12 and 13, 2022, FundGo Creative Startup Investment Fund coordinated with CASTI Hub – Cantho Startup and Innovation Hub Organize the course "Innovative Startup Consulting" at CASTI Hub headquarters, No. 118/3, Tran Phu, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city.
The course aims to effectively implement Plan No. 135/KH-UBND dated June 30, 2021 of the People's Committee of Can Tho City on supporting the development of the city's innovative startup ecosystem for the period 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030. At the same time, the course aims to improve capacity and skills to become a consultant, contributing to building a network of innovative startup consultants for the city. Through the program, the organizers hope to train a team of high-quality consultants to accompany and support individuals and groups of individuals in innovative startups to build strategies and improve the success rate of projects.
Representative of the organizing committee delivered the opening speech of the course.
The course has the participation of lecturers, experts, entrepreneurs, and startups in Can Tho city. The program also welcomes the presence of many representatives from neighboring provinces such as the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances in Soc Trang province, the Department of Science and Technology of Long An province, etc.
The course attracts many students who are teachers and experts from different units.
By participating in the course, students are equipped with a lot of useful knowledge revolving around issues such as: what is a mentor; stories about innovation in leadership management; mindset and attitude when choosing to become a mentor; considering the differences between consulting - coaching - advising; establishing boundaries, goals, and expectations of the mentor and the mentee; the mentor - mentee relationship, etc.
In addition, group activities, discussions and Q&A with lecturers, experts and consultants experienced in the field of innovative startups also help students have the opportunity to practice, hone their consulting skills and enhance their creative thinking ability. All students participating in the training program are fully sponsored for tuition and awarded a certificate at the end of the course.

The course was a great success, helping students understand the importance of mentoring as well as being relatively well-prepared in terms of knowledge and skills to become professional mentors.
Following the above success, FundGo will promote the organization of similar activities and programs to train high-quality human resources and consultants to serve the development process of the innovation startup ecosystem in Can Tho city as well as the whole country.
