Continuing the journey to promote the development of the national startup ecosystem, FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund has sponsored and accompanied the 1st Mekong Delta Student Startup Idea Competition in 2022. The competition will take place on November 12, 2022 at Tra Vinh University (No. 126 Nguyen Thien Thanh, K.4, Ward 5, Tra Vinh City, Tra Vinh Province).
The Mekong Delta Student Startup Ideas, the first time, in 2022, is a large-scale competition on innovative startups in the Nine Dragons region. This is a program of great importance and significance in the orientation of training, education and promotion of the national startup network. The competition started on September 14, 2022 and attracted more than 100 students to participate. After the journey of efforts to overcome the preliminary rounds, the 17 best teams will continue to compete in the final round. Here, the Organizing Committee will select and award prizes to the most potential and creative projects. The program is also an opportunity for the teams to present and introduce their projects to seek investment opportunities, thereby realizing their ideas.
The contest attracted students from 17 schools in the Mekong Delta region.
With the goal of promoting the development of the digital economy, FUNDGO not only invests in key areas such as science, technology, finance, etc. but also focuses on education. In recent times, the Fund has continuously coordinated with leading colleges and universities in and outside the Mekong Delta region to organize many startup competitions to encourage and support students on the path to realizing their ideas and initiatives, contributing to nurturing more talents for the country. Continuing this spirit, FUNDGO continues to sponsor the "Student Startup Ideas in the Mekong Delta Region, 1st time, 2022" competition. Notably, Mr. Le Pham - Senior Advisor of FUNDGO will also represent the Fund in the final round of the competition as a judge.
FUNDGO highly appreciates the value and significance of the competition in promoting training, education and building a sustainable Vietnamese innovative startup ecosystem. The Fund hopes that the competition will create a useful playground for innovative startups for students in the Mekong Delta region in particular and the whole country in general.
