FundGo participates in the program "Survey on cooperation and investment linkage between Japan and Vietnam in Tra Vinh province"

On the morning of July 7, 2022, FundGo Creative Startup Investment Fund attended the program: "Survey on cooperation and investment linkage between Japan and Vietnam in Tra Vinh province" organized by the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in the Kansai region. The program was successful and promises to open up opportunities for multi-field cooperation, especially in Education in the near future. 

Over the past 20 years, Japan has been one of the largest bilateral donors to Vietnam. With a long-term relationship of friendship, cooperation and investment, the Japanese Government has actively provided financial and resource support to improve the quality of enterprises and the capacity of the workforce in Vietnam. This support has contributed positively to improving the investment environment and promoting the socio-economic development of our country. In particular, in the context of today's integration, Vietnam and Japan must strengthen cooperation to jointly promote rapid and sustainable economic development of the two countries.

Within that goal, the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in the Kansai region organized the program "Survey on cooperation and investment linkage between Japan and Vietnam in Tra Vinh province" to create opportunities for units to meet, survey the potential of the province and carry out plans for cooperation and investment linkage in the future. The program revolves around the main contents such as: Survey on cooperation and linkage with small-scale shoe factories (from 70 - 100 employees) for Japanese business partners to sign cooperation agreements to produce indoor slippers for export to Japan (expected from 3 - 5 million pairs/year); survey the Sa Binh Industrial Cluster to propose an Industrial Cluster to attract concentrated investment of 100% Japanese enterprises; survey and work with Tra Vinh Vocational College and the Center for Continuing Education under the Department of Education and Training to cooperate in Japanese language training and vocational training; survey and agree to propose the establishment of a Center for promoting Japanese culture and language in the Kansai region in Tra Vinh; finally agree on the reception plan and working program with the Japanese business delegation to Tra Vinh province (expected on July 28, 2022). Attending the program were representatives of the parties such as: Mr. Luong Phuc Sinh - Assistant to the President in Vietnam, representing the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in the Kansai region; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong - Director of MEKONG Institute (the sole representative organization of the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Association in the Kansai region in Vietnam); Mr. Truong Gia Bao - Vice President of FundGo Creative Startup Investment Fund; Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Director of TRUSTpay Joint Stock Company, the management unit of FundGo Fund; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - Vice Principal of Tra Vinh Vocational College; Mr. Nguyen Van Quoc Binh - Deputy Director of the Center for Training Services and Business Cooperation under Tra Vinh Vocational College; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Suong - Head of Training Department, Tra Vinh Vocational College and some other Heads of Departments.

Within the framework of the program, the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association in the Kansai region and FundGo representatives met and worked with Tra Vinh Vocational College. During the discussion, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Phuong - Director of the MEKONG Institute shared the program's goals and the direction of signing a cooperation agreement in the near future. She also affirmed that Japan will support Tra Vinh in developing both economy and education. For Tra Vinh Vocational College, the Association wants to open Japanese language training classes, creating conditions for students to improve their foreign language skills and expand labor export opportunities. 

The parties visited and surveyed the learning and practice space of students of Tra Vinh Vocational College.

On the side of FundGo, Mr. Truong Gia Bao - Vice President of the Fund expressed his desire to promote cooperation for mutual development between the parties. He affirmed that FundGo is ready to support students in accessing digital transformation in both theory and practice to improve the quantity and quality of human resources in this field. In addition, Mr. Pham Be Sau - Deputy Director of the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support hopes that FundGo will be a guest for the Tra Vinh Innovation Competition. At the same time, he affirmed that he will connect with the Fund to develop and incubate innovative startup projects in the province.

FundGo believes that through this survey and meeting, the parties will have a comprehensive view of investment and cooperation opportunities in the coming time. On FundGo's side, the Fund will soon sign a cooperation agreement with Tra Vinh Vocational College and the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support to support Tra Vinh province in comprehensive and sustainable development.
