FUNDGO: Journey in 2022, looking back to reach further

Since its establishment, FUNDGO Innovative Startup Investment Fund has fulfilled its mission well, creating many values for the Vietnamese innovative startup ecosystem. After more than 9 months of operation, the Fund has made continuous efforts, participated in many meaningful events, programs, and activities and achieved many outstanding achievements. 

Established with the aim of supporting, sponsoring and investing in innovative businesses and projects, FUNDGO aims to become a financial launch pad, supporting young businesses to participate in the digital transformation process of the region. In addition to investing in traditional businesses with highly innovative ideas, FUNDGO also focuses on potential blockchain projects, contributing to making Vietnam a leading country in the field of new technology.

Launching FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund

Immediately after launch, FUNDGO has invested in and accompanied many potential and innovative projects such as: HanaGold, Hesman Legend, Delta Labs, Samaki, Run Together, Bami Pawn Shop. In 2022, FUNDGO and its projects have had successful starts, creating many values for the community and the national economy. All have left many marks in a series of events and programs such as TECHFEST Mekong 2022, TECHFEST VIETNAM 2022, Festiverse 2022, 15th Cambodia Import-Export Products Exhibition, etc. In particular, Run Together Fund was honored to become one of The Best of Vietnam Brands. 

Become a partner of many prestigious businesses and organizations

Since its establishment, FUNDGO has also stepped up its search for partners, expanded its relationships, and promoted connections with many large, prestigious businesses and organizations around the world. Currently, FUNDGO has become a partner of units such as: Digital Asset Management Center (TSS), Can Tho University, Can Tho University of Technology and Engineering, FPT Polytechnic Can Tho College of Practice, Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM), ONUS, METAX Technology Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Innovation Network in Korea (VINK), Can Tho Business Association (CBA), Can Tho Young Entrepreneurs Association (YBA), Can Tho Association of Women Entrepreneurs (CAWE). Through the cooperative relationship, FUNDGO and the units together promote training activities, increase investment in start-up projects, support and create favorable conditions for businesses to participate in the digital transformation and technology transfer process.

Promoting creative entrepreneurship movement in educational institutions

At the same time, the FUNDGO Innovative Startup Investment Fund has maximized its role in promoting innovative startups at colleges and universities in and outside the Mekong Delta region. In particular, the Fund has paid great attention to the young generation of students in Can Tho city. In April 2022, FUNDGO coordinated with Can Tho University and Can Tho University of Technology to organize job counseling and future career orientation for students. At the same time, with the desire to find talents and startup ideas from school, FUNDGO has sponsored the Potential Startup Project Competition for students of Can Tho University in 2022, Finnovation 2022 - the first national competition on FinTech startups in Vietnam, sponsored the final round and awarded the prize for the Student Startup Ideas Competition in the Mekong Delta region, the first time, in 2022. Through the competitions, the Fund and other units have successfully created a useful playground, helping students have the opportunity to exchange, learn, promote creativity as well as gain more knowledge and skills about startups and confidently bring products and ideas to the community and society.

Collaborate with units to launch NFT Alliance

Recently, the Fund has also coordinated with other units to NFT Alliance Launched. The establishment of the NFT Alliance marks an important milestone and creates momentum for the development of Vietnam's digital economy. As a key member of the Alliance, FUNDGO will always accompany units and organizations to develop domestic NFT development strategies as well as connect with the global NFT community, promoting the sustainable development of the digital asset market in the future.

In the near future, FUNDGO will have many more plans and milestones to conquer, from helping Vietnamese projects and companies expand their scale, quality, and competitiveness with international friends to continuing the mission of promoting the country's innovative startup ecosystem to continuously develop. FUNDGO understands that the road to the destination is not easy, but the Fund hopes to always receive attention and support from domestic and foreign startup units and ecosystems. In 2023, the Fund will continue to promote its role, participate in and organize more activities, contributing to the common development of the community and the country's economy.
