On December 1, 2022, a nationwide charity fundraising program for disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects - Scar of Life 10 with the theme of "Heart Heroes" was successfully held at Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81, Ho Chi Minh City. The event gathered a large number of artists and philanthropists in and outside Vietnam.
The Scars of Life 10 marks its return after a 2-year hiatus due to COVID-19 and celebrates its 10-year anniversary. During the past period, Scar of Life has funded free heart surgery and saved 2,317 children's lives. This year, the program aims to honor and pay tribute to devoted benefactors who have supported the program and welcome new heroes who will help maintain the journey of lighting up a bright future for underprivileged children.
The event attracts a large number of domestic and international artists and benefactors.
In addition to the annual charity auction, Scar of Life 10 also launched the Heart Heroes fundraising campaign to call for direct funds for children who are waiting for heart surgery. Specifically, the Organizing Committee held an auction of items such as Buddha statues, paintings by famous artists, watches, diamond rings, gold feng shui vases, holiday vouchers, etc. Actor and director Ngo Thanh Van - Ambassador of Heartbeat Vietnam also auctioned a book signed by the cast of The Old Guard 2 for $60,000.
At the event, Ngo Thanh Van announced the next generation of Scar of Life, including singer Jun Pham, Isaac, Toc Tien; musician Hua Kim Tuyen; Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H' Hen Niê; actress Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc; social activist Helly Tong; businessman Huy Tran; goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung and athlete Vu Phuong Thanh.

At the end of the program, Scar of Life was successfully auctioned off aforementioned items, raising a total of $541,551 (more than VND 13.2 billion), which brings free life-changing surgeries for 451 young patients with congenital heart diseases.
