CAN THO YOUTH STARTUP PROJECT IDEA SEARCH CONTEST 2024

“Searching for startup ideas and projects among Can Tho youth” is a competition organized to encourage and support young people in the process of developing business ideas, a useful playground, helping young people with a passion for startups have the opportunity to rub shoulders and develop their cherished project ideas. 

The competition marks a turning point in supporting young startups in Can Tho and the Mekong Delta, demonstrating the city's determination to build a team of dynamic and modern young entrepreneurs.

Through the program, contestants and contestant groups will be consulted by experts and guided to perfect their ideas and startup projects. At the same time, they will be connected with investors interested in feasible projects.

Carrying on the mission of spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship, FUNDGO Creative Startup Investment Fund accompanies this year's competition, supporting young people with a passion for entrepreneurship to have the opportunity to implement their projects in the most practical way.

The projects and ideas presented are in many fields such as: information technology, automation, food processing, high-tech agriculture, and devices serving people's lives.

After the preliminary round took place on September 17, 2024, the Top 10 "big ideas" that showed the Jury their innovation, creativity as well as their perspective on problems through their ideas have officially entered the semi-finals of this year's competition, scheduled to take place on October 5, 2024. 

To support the teams in preparing well, the Organizing Committee held a special training session to help the teams practice planning and presentation skills, thereby improving the quality of their ideas and projects.

Here, the teams were able to gain valuable experience from experts in building business plans, presenting and attracting investors. The teams also had the opportunity to practice directly and receive sincere comments from experts. 

Accompanying the teams, Mr. Le Hoa Nha - Deputy General Director of FUNDGO, shared practical experiences about the startup journey, deeply inspiring the young people.

In addition, there was also the participation of Ms. Vuong Tuyet Anh - Business Development Director of HVA Group, contributing to creating useful and valuable exchanges for the competing teams.
