On the morning of May 7, 2022, representatives of FundGo Creative Startup Investment Fund attended as members of the Jury of the "Potential Startup Project" competition for students of Can Tho University in 2022. This is a useful playground for students organized by Can Tho University with the support of FundGo Fund and professional sponsorship from the Startup Youth Support Center (BSSC). The competition took place from February 15, 2022 to May 7, 2022 and attracted the participation of 21 startup projects.
After the preliminary round, the Board of Judges selected the 12 best projects to compete in the Final Round. At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee selected the best projects to win the highest prizes including: Lotus Sterilization Product Set (First Prize), Farm Management System Using IoT Technology (Second Prize), TIO Dried Jackfruit (Third Prize). A total of 16 prizes were awarded to the best teams with a total value of up to 22,700,000 VND, of which FundGo sponsored three secondary prizes: Promising Project, Passionate Project, Practical Project, and 5 consolation prizes for the remaining participating teams.
With the goal of accompanying and supporting the contestants on their entrepreneurial journey, within the framework of the competition, the program's advisory team and experts from FundGo and BSSC provided advice, guidance and contributions to the contestants on entrepreneurial knowledge, presentation skills as well as project development orientation. In particular, the teams also have the opportunity to continue to receive support from Can Tho University to incubate their projects for 6 months through the school's Student Entrepreneurship Support Fund and connect to development support activities in the following stages.
Through the competition, FundGo hopes to support students on the path to realizing their ideas and initiatives, contributing to nurturing more talents for the country. The Fund is always committed to fully supporting the process of promoting creative startups in the Mekong Delta in particular and the whole country in general, in accordance with its operating motto.
