On the afternoon of November 12, 2024, FUNDGO Da Nang Fund and Pocket Company Korea visited and exchanged, connected and cooperated with Vietnam - Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU) - Da Nang University with the aim of enhancing training and supporting startups for students.
The exchange session was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - General Director of FUNDGO Fund, Deputy General Directors including Mr. Truong Gia Khanh and Mr. Vu Tien Dung, on the side of Pocket Company (Korea) there were Mr. Kyujin Cheong-CEO, Mr. Jungsun Kwon-Co-founder/CTO, Mr. Mike Oh-Senior Advisor and on the side of VKU there was Dr. Tran The Son-Vice Principal, along with leaders of Departments, Faculties and Centers of the University.
Vietnam – Korea University of Information and Communications Technology (VKU) – University of Danang was established in 2020. VKU plays an important role in providing high-quality human resources for the fields of information technology, communications, digital economy, artificial intelligence, logistics and in 2024, digital financial technology (Fintech). In addition, VKU has actively maintained and promoted the entrepreneurial spirit for students through many competitions and startup programs.
Through the exchange and information gathering session, FUNDGO Da Nang expressed its willingness to accompany VKU in creative startup activities and competitions with many roles, providing infrastructure to support the construction of projects on Amazon and CMC platforms and supporting students to participate in building small modules in a number of projects to help students gain practical experience.
FUNDGO Da Nang and VKU have agreed to exchange detailed plans to cooperate together to facilitate support for students in start-up and innovation activities, helping students improve their skills and access the working environment of businesses before and after graduation, contributing to training high-quality human resources for the domestic and international markets.
