The participation of FUNDGO Startup Investment Fund at the Tourism Startup Seminar is a testament to the Fund's commitment to promoting the creative startup ecosystem, especially in the potential tourism sector in the Mekong Delta region.
Representative of FUNDGO Fund – Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong – Director of Fund Management Company gave a speech sharing about the Fund's commitment to promoting the creative startup ecosystem, especially in the potential tourism sector in the Mekong Delta.
In addition, one of the highlights of the seminar was the Launching Ceremony of the “Tourism Innovation Startup” Competition – a competition for tourism startup projects across Vietnam to select projects with creativity in solutions, products, technology, etc. suitable for the development of the tourism industry in Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region, especially exploiting the value of regional connectivity.
Projects participating in the competition must meet four main areas: Creative ideas to serve tourism development policies; Building unique, distinctive and distinctive tourism products based on exploiting and promoting historical, cultural and human values, increasing interesting experiences for tourists; Building a safe and secure tourism environment for tourists; Applying technology in supporting tourism products to create tourism promotion activities associated with smart tourism.
Ms. Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu - Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism called for the active participation of organizations, individuals, groups of individuals, universities, colleges and communities nationwide; foreign organizations to create a broad social effect, creating a good impression of the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation, especially for the tourism industry of Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region.
